Data Processor
"It’s a great vibe at Clinton and it’s noticeable that we love what we do and want to be at the forefront of our field."
What made you decide to start working at Clinton?
I heard about Clinton from university acquaintances and have always been interested in underwater surveys. After I learned about the cool assignments you get to be part of, I applied for a job and I’m now working as a Data Processor in the Hydro team.
How could a typical workday look like?
It’s tricky to explain because the job is very varied and each new project comes with new challenges and learnings so one day are not similar to the next. We do a lot of cool stuff like checking for wrecks or deviations in nautical charts. I have had the opportunity to be Lead Processor in a project lately which has made me develop a lot in my role.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The feeling of arriving at work in the morning and not really now what to expect to find that day. I’m working with a great team where everyone is very competent and enjoy sharing their knowledge. It’s a great vibe at Clinton and it’s noticeable that we love what we do and want to be at the forefront of our field.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy being out and about in the woods and explore new geological sites around me. We have gathered a rock-hunting-gang at work for those who share the interest of searching for fossils.
