Clinton Marine Survey performs a wide range of services which are tailored for our customers' needs. We are currently looking for a new team member to our hydrography department, who will be processing bathymetry (MBES) data which is collected in all our projects. Both people with experience from the industry and new to the hydrography world are welcome to apply.
About the role:
If you are new to the industry, you will initially learn the basics of MBES data processing and thereafter get responsibility for processing on a project level as you gain experience. If you have previous experience you will quickly become a key player in the team by receiving responsibility and work tasks to match your level. You will also get internal training from your team members and be an important part of the Clinton team in our future projects. At Clinton, all data processing is office-based.
Who we are looking for:
We are reaching out to you who already have experience from and an interest for the marine surveying business, or you who are interested in getting to know it. You are a fast learner and a team player with a flexible mindset. Others would describe you as someone who are interested in developing new ideas and takes initiative to make sure to get things done. You enjoy working both independently as well as in a team. The role suits someone who is used to work their way around a computer environment, have skills in data management and are good at learning new software quickly. The role is office-based
A bachelor’s degree in Marine Science or related scientific/technical area, is a requirement. Previous experience from hydrographic data processing, especially using EIVA processing software, is desired. The organizational language is English and therefore you need to be able to communicate on a professional proficiency level in English. Swedish is preferable but not a requirement.
Location:If possible, at the head office in Gothenburg. We are open for remote work if relocation is not possible (only applicable to experienced applicants).
