The opportunity to not just process data, but also to get the experience of working in all different kinds of environmental settings while collecting the data. This gives me a better understanding of the factors affecting the resulting dataset, which in turn creates a really good base when processing and producing the products. And off course the perks of fieldwork: to be outside and to see all the interesting stuff in IRL!
3. What are your main tasks at Clinton today?
I work as an hydrographic surveyor and data processor at the Stockholm office. I also manage some of the smaller projects, which means planning and keeping the main contact with the clients.
4. What is the best part with working at Clinton?
Apart from a great team where there is so much knowledge and competence to gain, the best part is the variation of the tasks. One day you’re coming up all with all kinds of creative solutions when surveying a strongly weather dependent river in Norway, and the next day you process data from a small harbor in Stockholm’s archipelago back at the office. High n low.
